Olivero Pietro - Antica Cascina dei Conti di Roero
Winery Wines

2006 Roero DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly buttery nose, preserved red berries and partly candied light cherries, dried flowers and a hint of dried leaves. Fruity on the palate, vegetal and earthy notes, fairly prominent fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, creamy and slightly oaky, good persistence and has some depth, still quite youthful, lively and grippy, spicy with cool mineral traces on a very good finish.
