2015 Lazio IGT "Diana Nemorensis I", Latium, Italy

Dried-herbaceous and slightly greasy, also a hint of meaty scent of ripe blackcurrants as well as hints of cherries and plums with peppery and spicy nuances, tobacco, iodine, floral nuances and slightly cedar wood notes. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved, warm fruit, roasted and candied peanut oak, spicy tobacco notes in the background, hint of Provence herbs, caraway and cubeb pepper, some cardamom, dense and persistent, some depth, sweetish creamy, very good finish with ripe, warm notes Juice, ethereal notes and spice.
