1999 Beaujolais-Villages AOC Cuvée Speciale, Beaujolais, France

Fairly shy nose with some cappucino, dried berries and a touch of high-quality leather. Still quite together in the mouth, is apparently light, but shows good structure and some substance, very polished fruit with notes of dried berries, dried vegetables, preserved cherries and some chestnuts, integrated, very slightly bitter tannins, amazing depth, harmonious, good long finish. In excellent shape.
