2017 Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Tuscany, Italy

Light dried vegetal notes and a hint of tobacco on the nose, ripe red and a few black berries, toasted traces, aromas of dried flowers. Clear, straightforward, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, fairly firm tannins, light acid bite, nutty and spicy traces, hint of tobacco, still very slightly astringent, full-bodied, but also quite polished, hint of dried flowers, cocoa and coffee notes, good to very good, fairly tart finish.
