noticeably mature nose, iodine, hint of tobacco, earthy notes, partly preserved mixed berries and cherries, some soup greens, malted notes and a whiff of bread. Tart fruit on the palate, undergrowth, hint of mushrooms, earthy notes, fine tannins, noticeable acid bite, iodine, meaty notes, good persistence, spicy notes, hint of soup greens and some malted traces, peppery traces, shows more freshness and life than one would expect from the nose, some depth, very good finish.
