2015 Syrah Le Roi des Montagnes, Peloponnese / Πελοπóννησος, Greece

Firm, slightly peppery and spicy-woody nose, preserved black berries and cherries with tobacco aromas, tar, dry herbs, black olives and a little paprika. Very powerful in the mouth, compact, dark fruit with sugar candy, dark chocolate and licorice, fine sandy, youthful tannins, herbaceous and minty notes, again also aromatic pepper, persistent on the palate, with all the power even with cooling elements, a little clove spice in the background, salty mineral notes, light acid bite, cocoa notes, very good, juicy, preserved fruity and chocolate finish with minty, herbaceous and spicy aromas.
