1996 Crozes-Hermitage AOC Domaine Raymond Roure, Rhône, France

Intense nose, green olives, red and black berries, some old oak and smoke, mineals and spicy notes. Firm and cool in the mouth, fine tannins present and very slightly astrignent, elegant juicy fruit and relatively prominent acidity, mineral components, smoke and some black roasted aromas in the background, good persistence, somewhat mellow, good balance, good finish.
