2003 Côtes du Rhone Villages AOC, Rhône, France

Fairly mature nose with mixed berries, light peppery notes and some herbaceous notes. Quite juicy on the palate, clear fruit with peppery and light roasted notes, fine, fairly prominent tannins. medium body, juicy and refreshing, very harmonious, good finish.

Editor note: Some cherries and physalis on the nose, light herbal and vegetal notes. Adequate fruit on the palate, with slightly green wood, prominent, dusty tannins, acceptable to attractive finish. Still appears rather closed, and also unfinished.
