2015 Barbaresco DOCG Castellizzano, Piedmont, Italy

Firm nose, red and black berries, hint of tobacco, dried herbs, hint of citrus zests, floral notes, peppery traces. Tart, firm fruit on the palate, salty and spicy notes, hint of tar, dried floral traces, fairly prominent, fairly fine tannins, light acid bite, persistent, some depth, still young, herbaceous traces, hint of tobacco, very good, firm, tart, juicy finish. Still needs some time to mature.
