Somewhat nutty and slightly earthy aroma of ripe black berries with hints of cherry, herbs and liquorice. Relatively tart, partly preserved dark fruit, some melting, a little cocoa and coffee on the palate, quite polished tannin, some persistence, spicy wood notes, slightly warming alcohol, good to very good finish with a hint of rum pot
