2009 Weinviertel DAC Grüner Veltliner trocken Ried Hochstrass, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Compact, slightly spicy nose, preserved yellow apples, herbaceous and delicate peppery notes, hint of tobacco. More light peppery spice on the palate, straightforward, medium-bodied, polished fruit, fairly persistent, delicately bitter, but also very slightly sweetish in the background, integrated acidity, full-bodied, but not clumsy, shows its origin, stil slightly rough and sharp on a good finish.
