2006 Venezia Giulia IGT Baolar, Friuli/Venezia-Giulia, Italy

Black berries, cherries and some plums on the nose, vegetal traces, malted notes and some undergrowth. Fairly light-bodied style, cool fruit on the palate, spicy oak and raisted notes, astringent tannins, not particularly deepm slightly juicy and again slightly oaky and astringent on an attractive finish.
