2004 Collina del Milanese IGT Pinot Nero, Lombardy, Italy

Preserved red and some black berries on the nose, prominent dried herbs and spices, light mineral notes and some smoky notes. Clear, cool style, elegant juicy fruit on the palate, light acid bite, harmonious, fine tannins evenly distributed, good persistence, light smoky and oaky notes, mineral traces in the background, still quite youthful, good finish.
