2015 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Rennina®", Tuscany, Italy

Tart, tightly knitted, somewhat dried vegetal to tobacco and a little woody scent of ripe, partly preserved black and red berries with a little dried herbs, plums, mineral notes and almost meaty notes. Very firm in the mouth, ripe, juicy berry and cherry fruit, very slightly plum tones, nutty and moderately woody tones, a little tobacco and tar, present, ripe, still very youthful tannins, dense and lasting on the palate, deep, complex, there barely developed, restrained power, a little cocoa and pepper in the background, a lot of melting, but also grip, compact construction, very good to long, firm, tart finish with salty and smoky tones.
