2003 Friuli Grave DOC Riserva Villa Agricola, Friuli/Venezia-Giulia, Italy

Fairly mature nose, dried berries, red currants, cedar and roasted bell peppers. Fairly light-bodied on the palate, very slightly sweetish fruit, red currant jelly and a hint of plums, touch of chocolate, slightly bitter, cedary notes, fine-grained, slightly astringent tannins, medium-firm structure, ready to drink, quite a good finish.
