2013 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva "Colombaiolo", Tuscany, Italy

Clear aroma of red and black berries with a hint of pomegranate as well as herbal and bacony nuances, a little dried flowers and hints of juniper. Clear, tangy, quite polished fruit with fine sandy tannins as well as delicate floral, herbal and morel-like notes, good persistence and substance, just seems rather undeveloped, a hint of citrus, some salt, very good, quite tight and fresh-juicy finish with bite. Needs to mature
