2013 Toscana IGT Le Diacce, Tuscany, Italy

Hint of tobacco and tar on the nose, smoky and cedary notes, ripe black and a few red berries, meaty animal traces and some iodine. Tart, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, earthy and dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, some tar and iodine in the background, fine, dusty, slightlyastringent tanninms, light acid bite, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, salty traces, hint of tobacco and some cocoa on a very good, tart finish.
