2012 Barolo DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat herbal, dried-floral and delicately spicy scent of red and a little black berries with a hint of soup green and earthy notes. Strong in the mouth, ripe fruit, clearly spicy notes, mainly reminiscent of cardamom, some cocoa-spicy wood, a hint of bacon, fine sand, present tannins, good sustainability, some alcohol warmth, salty nuances in the background, has a grip and bite, distinctly floral aromas, Coffee and cardamom in the background, very good, quite juicy finish, again with notes of cocoa, with coconut and mint.
