2015 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Teatro", Tuscany, Italy

Very firm, deep, somewhat nutty and cedary aroma of ripe red and black berries with tobacco aromas, a little pomegranate, fleshy traces, dry herbs and distinct minerality. Very tightly knit, tart, rather dark fruit, smoky, toasty wood notes, a little coffee and cocoa, spicy tones, a lot of bite and taut, youthful, yet very fine tannin, has cool ethereal notes despite all the power, clearly salty in the background, complex, still undeveloped, very good to long finish
