2003 Langhe DOC Campo Romano, Piedmont, Italy

Sweetish herbs and spices on the nose, preserved red berries and some mint. Ripe red berry fruit with light roasted and spicy oak in the mouth, medium-fine, slightly astringent tannins, very creamy on the palate, quite full-bodied, light herbaceous notes on the palate, mineral notes in the background, oak slightly fudges the contours, medium depth, attractive to good finish.
