2006 Langhe DOC Bricco del Drago, Piedmont, Italy

Complex, fairly mature nose, partly dried dark berries, light spicy medicinal notes. Polished, preserved and dried dark berry fruit on the palate, hint of plums, herbs, medicinal herbs and some tarry notes, mineral traces in the background, integrated, slightly astringent tannins, clearly shows its origin, has some substance, fairly cool style, good to very good finish.
