2008 Barbaresco DOCG Roncaglie, Piedmont, Italy

Partly dried red berries on the nose, delicate nutty notes and a hint of undergrowth, wilted leaves and mineral traces. Clear, firm and fairly tart fruit on the palate, delicately juicy, nutty, earthy and vegetal notes, hint of butter, good persistence, more light mineral notes in the background, not particularly deep, but harmonious, good to very good finish.
