Tart, slightly juicy fruit on the palate, light sugar candy, dark caramel and dark chocolate, spicy oak and cardamom, lively acidity, fine sandy and slightly astringent tannins, fairly persistent, hint of tobacco, tart spicy spices, good substance, good to very good finish. The wood makes it a bit brittle at the moment.
