2016 Barolo DOCG Bussia, Piedmont, Italy

Clear, quite polished fragrance of ripe red berries with dried vegetable to tobacco notes, a little pomegranate, nutty-woody notes and a hint of tar. Ripe, juicy, firm fruit, a little nutty and a hint of toast, ripe, fine tannin, a hint of tobacco on the palate, hinted at cocoa, sustained, restrained power, spicy notes, good depth, very good, slightly warm, juicy and spicy finish.
