2011 Roero DOCG Riserva Ginis®, Piedmont, Italy

Ripe, partly preserved red and black berries on the nose, hint of undergrowth and tobacco, dried flowers, earthy and mineral notes, somne leaves and peppery traces. Ripe, tart, juicy, firm fruit on the palate, fairly prominent fine tannins, light bite, hint of tobacco and some cocoa, good substance and persistence, some depth, quite full-bodied, slightly polished, hint of rosehip, herbaceous traces, hint of juniper, very good firm finish.
