2008 Barbera d'Alba DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Youthful nose, cherries and red berries, vegetal notes, undergrowth and some tobacco. Polished tart preserved berry fruit on the palate, herbaceous notes, slightly rustic style, crisp and delicately juicy, light acid bite, moderate tannins, robust, attractive finish.
