2004 Sant 'Antimo DOC "Mezzopane", Tuscany, Italy

Sour cherries and mixed berries on the nose, herbaceous notes, roasted as well as sweet spicy oak. Quite juicy tart fruit, prominent oak, roasted notes, some dusty tannins, not particularly deep, nevertheless quite full-bodied, alcoholic, tart fruit, prominent oak and some astringent notes on the finish.
