2009 Champagne AOC Brut Blanc de Blancs, Champagne, France

Yeasty, nutty and herbaceous-vegetable nose with pome fruit and citrus aromas, delicately mushroomy and also earthy tones as well as some mussel shell. Also mushroomy and earthy in the mouth, restrained, not quite dry fruit with moderate mousseux, some vanilla and anise, good persistence, floral and herbal notes, quite floral, a little muted, metallic traces, hints of legumes, good persistence, slightly creamy, quite complex, very good, juicy and nutty-yeasty finish
