The winery is located in the municipality of Bolzano (Bolzano) in the Italian wine-growing area South-Tirol (Region Trentino-Alto Adige, The farm was first mentioned in the 15th century with cellar and Torggel. It has been owned by the family since 1935 and is now managed by the third generation. In 2009, it started to process the grapes themselves, before they had been delivered to a cooperative. The steep vineyards cover three hectares of vines characterized by quartz porphyry, morainic granite and basalt deposits in the Kampill fraction of the municipality of Bolzano and in the surrounding slopes of the Bolzano.
The main focus is on the red varieties Vernatsch ( Schiava Grossa ) and Lagrein, besides, too mixed sentences and Gewurztraminer cultured. The cultivation of the vineyards is done according to the rules of the Biodynamic viticulture, The basement works are done after noninvasive Principles with minimal intervention. The wines are basically spontaneous fermented. The red wines go through a long maceration up to seven weeks. The wines are in big wooden barrels and in concrete casks expanded and later sulphurized to a small extent. On fining and filtration is waived.
