2014 Caroline, Italy

Cool nose, still clearly reductive, light animal notes, nutty and earthy notes, mature yellow fruit, lightly braised root vegetables, broccoli and some dark berries. Elegant, juicy, polished fruit on the palate, slightly bitter nutty notes, prominent sea salt, root vegetables and some white pepper, cool earthy and mineral notes, elegant acidity, very good persistence, very grippy structure, the mouthfeel is almost more important than the aromas, hint of tobacco, yellow spice on a very good gripping finish.
