, The traditional company was originally located in the historic center, the archway records the year 1604, and was worked as a mixed agricultural enterprise including winegrowing. In 1960 it was relocated on the outskirts of Thüngersheim and converted by Rudolf & Hannelore Hart to viticulture and asparagus cultivation with restaurants and hotels. The company has been run by son Hans-Jürgen Hart and his wife Claudia since 1998. The hotel restaurant "Winzerhof" is operated separately by a tenant family. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Benediktusberg
(Retzbach), as well Johannisberg
(Thuengersheim). They are planted with the white varieties Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Scheurebe, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Kerner and Huxelrebe, as well as the red varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Cabernet Dorsa and Portugieser. The management is based on the principles of natural viticulture. In years that are suitable for the weather, fine sweet dessert wines such as dried berries and ice wines are also pressed.
