2011 Thüngersheim Scharlachberg Scheurebe Spätlese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly stalked and perfumed-floral scent of partly overripe yellow fruits. Straight, sweetish fruit in the mouth, dried vegetable to strawy and also earthy aromas, suitable acidity, calm style, slightly overripe pineapple, waxy and caramel traces, neat finish. Much better than the obviously impaired first bottle.
