2006 Barbaresco DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Editor note: Quite a cool nose, small red and some black berries, light herbaceous notes and dried flowers, mineral traces. Clear, again fairly cool fruit on the palate, elegant and juicy, light acid bite, fairly prominent, medium-fine tannins, light vegetal notes, not particularly deep, light oak, slightly astringent on a good finish. Could do with a little more real substance and depth.
