Very full-bodied, juicy on the palate, fairly prominent oak, sugar candy and chocolate, some licorice behind this, fairly prominent oak tannins, slightly sandy and astringent, good persistence, very creamy with a delicate acid bite, astringent roasted oak on an otherwise good to very good finish. Very modern style, at the price of being a little less typical.
