2003 Barbaresco DOCG Campo Quadro, Piedmont, Italy

Preserved red berries and some plums on the nose, light leathery notes, delicate dried flowers, reminiscent of roses. Quite clear on the palate, fairly juicy on the palate, delicate spicy oak, elegant and tart, fairly prominent tannins evenly distributed, quite persistent, mineral notes and tobacco, full-bodied, fairly polished, very good finish.
