2004 Dão DOC Reserva, Beiras, Portugal

Preserved black berries, some red berries, figs and plums on the nose, elegant spicy and some roasted notes. Quite juicy, fiarly prominent oak and some more roasted notes, chocolate, prominent mint, cardamom and some vanilla, fine, youthful, dusty tannins, full-bodied and creamy, quite a polished style, persistent on the palate, harmonious, still young, fruity finish with exotic spices.
