Mature nose, black and red berries, with notes of autumn leaves and dried flowers. Dark, slightly peppery fruit in the mouth, roasted oak, medium-fine tannins, tart spicy notes on the palate, good presence, quite full-bodied, dark fruit and roasted oak on an attractive to good finish. Well made, but rather dominated by the oak, which makes it a little lacking in character.
