Slightly austere and not quite clean barrel notes on the nose, red berries and light marzipan notes. Lactic notes on the palate, red berry and cherry fruit, subdued and slightly dissolute, becomes more juicy and substantial with aeration, slightly astringent tannins, attractive finish.
