2000 D.O. Toro Quinta Quietud, Castilla y León, Spain

Deep youthful garnet to cherry red. Slight animal notes on the nose, delicate floral notes, black berry preserves and plums, with mineral notes. Full-bodied, juicy fruit, very powerful, fine, present tannins and noticeable alcohol, oak present, not particularly deep or persistent on the palate, good fruity finish with chocolate notes. Needs some time.
