Preserved black berries and plums on the nose, licorice, black olives and egg plant, dried herbs, roasted and smoky notes. Initially quite juicy on the palate, but also lots of spicy oak, roasted and smoky notes, astringent tannins, cool mineral notes, quite a tart style, but full-bodied and creamy, nevertheless dominated by oak and lacks charm, ltos of alcohol, attractive finish.

Best to drink: 2008-2010. What our ratings mean
