2015 Douro DOC Touriga Nacional, Douro, Portugal

Clear, firm, rather tart scent of black berries with a hint of cherries, some dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, a hint of citrus fruits; Tobacco and mineral nuances. Firm, sour and juicy fruit with herbal and spicy notes, some cocoa, earthy tones and a hint of licorice, floral nuances, a lot of strength and noticeable alcohol, but becomes cooler and fresher with air, good sustainability and substance, again citrus notes, a little earthy , very good, first a little brittle, then increasingly juicy finish with ripe dark fruit and noticeable alcohol.
