The estate is located in the municipality Röschitz in the Lower Austrian wine region
Weinviertel, The traditional family has been practicing viticulture since 1660. In 1998 the estate was taken over by Johannes and Margit Kölbl. Röschitz was mentioned in 1198 under the name "Respiz" (Rebspitz), the winery name is to document the bond with the place. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Galgenberg, Himmelreich, Hundspoint, Kirchgraben, Königsberg and Reipersberg at the foothills of the Manhartsberg. They are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner (45%), Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Neuburger, Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc and the red variety Zweigelt. greening and selective hand picking of physiologically ripe grapes. After controlled fermentation, most of the wines mature in steel tanks.
