Notes of black berries on the nose, some partly-dried cherries, malt, spice, dried herbs, spicy oak. Fairly intense ripe dark fruit in the mouth, prominent smoky and roasted oak aromas, noticeable acidity, tobacco and dried herbs on the palate, quite full-bodied, has an acid bite, some notes of old oak in the background, oak and astringent tannins give a blunt feel to the finish.
