2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Latus®, Alto Adige, Italy

Earthy nose, dried vegetal notes, prominent oak, partly preserved black and a few red berries, some bell peppers. Sweetish, partly preserved fruit on the palate, sooty, smoky oak, slightly astringent tannins, hint of tobacco, delicate sooty and earthy notes, not particularly deep, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, some oak again on a good, tart, slightly sweetish and juicy finish.
