2013 Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG Sforza dell'orco, Lombardy, Italy

Slightly developed nose, partly dried and preserved red berries, floral and herbaceous traces, iodine and some foliage. Ripe, sweetish, again partly dried and canned red fruit, nutty and woody aromas, floral nuances and some more iodine, a hint of citrus in the background, has warmth and smoothness, mature tannins, a little dark chocolate, very good, sweetish and spicy finish.
