Rather firm scent of partially preserved black berries and cherries with slightly sooty-woody notes, leather, pepper, as well as dried vegetable and earthy tones. Ripe, preserved fruit with earthy and again a little dried vegetal to tobacco notes, quite present, yet crumbly tannin, dense and persistent on the palate, dark bread crust and liquorice, sweetish melting, clearly reminiscent of dried blueberries, some toasting in the background, a lot of power, some depth, a little salt, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish.
