2015 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Stielle", Tuscany, Italy

Tart, firm, relatively fresh scent of dark berries and cherries with tobacco, somewhat earthy, dried vegetal and slightly woody tones. Firmly knitted, ripe, tart and juicy fruit with slightly nutty wood notes, a hint of chocolate and tobacco, fine, ripe, youthful tannins, spicy notes going into peppery, good substance and sustainability, noticeable alcohol, a hint of dry herbs and licorice, very good, tart and firm finish.
