2005 Mittelburgenland DAC trocken Quintus Reserve, Burgenland, Austria

Translate to English Etwas holzwürziger und ledriger Duft nach dunklen Beeren und ein wenig Kirschen mit nussigen, erdigen, getrocknet-floralen und tabakigen Aromen. Reife, entwickelte, eher herbe dunkle Frucht, leicht antrocknendes Tannin und merkliche Holznoten, leicht speckig, tabakig und aschig am Gaumen, gewisse Wärme, hat Kraft, etwas Tiefe, zedrige Töne, gebrannte Nüsse, gute Nachhaltigkeit, leicht rustikaler Stil, guter bis sehr guter, warmer, leicht kompottiger und wieder deutlich röstig-holziger Abgang.

Editor note: Slightly muted nose, partly preserved red berries, herbaceous notes, nutty and light milky notes, oak. Quite polished on the palate, cherry and berry fruit, but not quite straightforward, slightly diffuse, very cool and quite smooth, appears restrained, and still rahter closed, legant and has a fine structure, good finish.
