2006 Wachau Ried Kollmütz Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Prominent vegetal notes on the nose, light yeasty and nutty notes, elegant herbaceous and floral traces, fairly elegant, restrained yellow fruit, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, creamy, slightly warm fruit on the palate, yeasty and nutty notes, hint of tobacco, moderate acidity, restrained integrated tannins, persistent, full-bodied, good depth, easily copes with the high alcohol level, very good juicy, spicy, slightly grippy finish.

Editor note: Deep nose with intense mienral notes, cool herbs and spices, pears and a hint of honeydew melon. Concentrated and firm, creamy on the palate, extremely elegant acidity, herbs and spices, prominent cool mineral notes, excellent balance, full-bodied yet lively and elegant, very persistent, good depth, very long finish.
