Mature, delicately oxidative aroma with aromas of dried flowers, foliage, coffee, nuts and iodine, currants, a hint of tobacco and dried flowers with sugar candy, dried soup herbs and earthy-mineral notes and gingerbread spice. Firm, ripe, sweet, juicy and chocolate fruit on the palate, nutty and delicate roasted notes, some coffee and tobacco in the background, concentrated and persistent, fairly concentrated, almost viscous, excellent depth, very full-bodied, restrained, mature Tannins and fine acid bite, full-bodied, aromas reminiscent of cake spices, some iodine, oxidative traces, complex, very good long finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Tiefer, komplexer, einen Hauch oxidativer Kaffeeduft mit Aromen von Korinthen, getrockneten roten Früchten und Karamell, tabakigen Aromen, holzigen und kandiert-nussigen Tönen, getrockneten Kräutern, Jod und recht deutlicher Mineralik. Herb und süß zugleich im Mund, gereifte Frucht mit viel Tabak und Kaffee, auch wieder Jod und Karamell am Gaumen, nachhaltig, dicht und kräftig, sehr feines Tannin, fester Bau, gewisse Tiefe, hat Biss, schokoladige Aromen im Hintergrund, vielschichtig, zeitloser Stil, schon ein Stück geöffnet und bestens trinkbar, aber auch mit erheblichen Reserven, hat bei aller Macht auch Eleganz, sehr guter bis langer Abgang.
